AAB held a stand-up briefing for press media in Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre, Kowloon Park, Haiphong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon on 9 January 2015
In view of the challenges for the conservation of built heritage, the AAB took part in the review on the policy of built heritage conservation at the invitation of the Development Bureau in 2012 and completed the policy review in December 2014. The Board held a stand-up briefing for press media on 9 January 2015 for the release of the Report on the Policy Review on Conservation of Built Heritage.

Visit to three historical buildings, namely Signal Tower, Race Course Fire Memorial and façade of the Old Mental Hospital on 15 May 2015
Members of AAB paid a visit to three historical buildings, i.e. Signal Tower at Blackhead Point, Tsim Sha Tsui; Race Course Fire Memorial at So Kon Po; and façade of the Old Mental Hospital on High Street, Sai Ying Pun, on 15 May 2015. AAB subsequently supported the proposal to declare these three historical buildings as monuments under the section 3(1) of the Antiquities and Monuments Ordinance at its 171st meeting held on 4 June 2015. With the support of AAB and the approval of the Chief Executive, these three historical buildings were declared as monuments under the Ordinance by notice in the Gazette on 23 October 2015.

Visit to three historic buildings, namely Blocks 7, 10 and 25 at the old Lei Yue Mun Barracks on 8 April 2016.
Members of AAB paid a visit to three historic buildings in Chai Wan, namely Blocks 7, 10 and 25 at the old Lei Yue Mun Barracks on 8 April 2016. The Board subsequently recommended the declaration of these three historic buildings as monuments under the Antiquities and Monuments Ordinance (Cap. 53) ("the Ordinance") at the meeting on 18 April 2016. With the support of AAB and the approval of the Chief Executive, these three historic buildings were declared monuments under the Ordinance by notice in the Gazette on 20 May 2016.
