Visits to three historic buildings, namely (i) Hip Tin Temple at Shan Tsui, Sha Tau Kok (ii) Old Tai Po Police Station (iii) Bonham Road Government Primary School on 3 and 4 March 2021
Members of AAB visited Hip Tin Temple at Shan Tsui, Sha Tau Kok, Old Tai Po Police Station and Bonham Road Government Primary School on 3 and 4 March 2021 respectively. The Board, at its meeting in March 2021, recommended to the Antiquities Authority to declare the three historic buildings as monuments under the Antiquities and Monuments Ordinance (Cap. 53) ("the Ordinance"). With the approval of the Chief Executive, these three historic buildings were declared monuments under the Ordinance by notice in the Gazette on 16 July 2021.
